Gambler Hats

Bring on the swagger with Brixton’s gambler hats for men. Synonymous with cowboy culture and the Wild West, men’s gambler hats have a distinct oval crown and wide brim.

Made for guys who aren’t afraid to turn heads or stand out from the crowd, these stylish toppers give you license to channel your inner renegade.

Men’s gambler hats are usually made of dyed felt wool, but you’ll also see them in straw or mixed materials. They almost always have a band above the brim—often with a distinctive cowboy motif.

A gambler hat is not quite a fedora and not quite a pork pie hat. Some would argue it’s even cooler than a cowboy hat. We’ll let you be the judge.

High Quality Meets High Style

Brixton takes style seriously. It starts with quality materials. Our designs are durable, versatile, and stylish, reflecting our commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.

We use 100% pure, cruelty-free sheep’s wool and other sustainably sourced materials to create headwear that stands up to the elements and retains its shape over time.

How to Style a Men’s Gambler Hat

Whether you’re going for a Western-inspired look or a relaxed vibe, a gambler hat gives you an extra boost of confidence. Here are some tips to help you rock this viciously cool hat with style:

Coolheaded Cowboy – Go all in on the Western look by pairing a gambler cowboy hat with a classic button-down shirt and well-worn jeans. Add a leather belt with a rustic buckle and top off the look with a pair of cowboy boots or rugged ankle boots.

City Slicker – Pair a black or tan gambler hat with a fitted V-neck tee or lightweight sweater. Match it with slim-fit chinos or dark jeans and slip into some leather loafers. This laid-back urban outfit is great for city strolls or casual outings with friends.

Outdoor Adventurer – For a rugged outdoorsy look, pair a wide brim gambler hat with a plaid flannel shirt and some sturdy cargo pants or hiking chinos. Add a pair of hiking boots to complete the ensemble. A gambler hat will help protect you from the elements, no matter what nature throws your way.

Finding Your Size

To pick the right lid, you need to know your measurements. Here’s how to find your size:

  • Find a soft tape measure. If you don’t have one, use a piece of string, then measure it against a ruler.

  • Wrap the tape measure around your head where you want the hat to sit (usually mid-forehead, above the ears).

  • Write down your measurement in inches or centimeters.

  • Use our size guide to pick the best size for you. If you are between sizes, we suggest sizing up. Use adjusters (not included) to get the perfect fit, if needed.
