The Original Bowery is a classic two-pocket flannel that looks and feels like a favorite shirt from day one. It's cut from our signature anti-scratch, wool-free vegan tri-blend — the fabric that fixed flannel's oldest problem. No itch, no break-in period, just soft from the first wear. Layer it over a tee for warmth, or wear it on its own.

That yarn-dye detail matters more than it sounds. Cheaper flannels print the pattern on top of the fabric, so it fades and looks flat. Ours is yarn-dyed — the threads are colored before they're woven, so the plaid runs all the way through and holds its depth wash after wash. It's the difference between a flannel that ages well and one that just ages.

Bowery Heavyweight Flannel — Same DNA, more substance. A heavier build in soft vegan-wool that wears as easily as a shirt or a light jacket. Dual chest utility pockets and a custom yarn-dye fabric make it the one you'll live in once the cold sets in.
Bowery Builders Ranch Performance Flannel — Built for hands-on days. An evolution of the Original, engineered in a wool-free, anti-scratch tri-blend with recycled polyester and a touch of spandex for stretch, so you get the soft hand feel of the classic with added durability and movement. A 260 gsm build with a water-resistant coating, reinforced metal snap closure, and chest pockets with a woven label and pencil holder — plus a beta patch at the pocket. Finished with a custom yarn-dye plaid and a softening wash, ready for action from the first wear.
Bowery Textured Twill Overshirt — An all-new take on our best-seller. This overshirt is made from a premium anti-scratch loop twill with real texture underfoot, treated with a garment dye for a lived-in look and feel. At 320 gsm with chest pockets, it's the heaviest, most substantial layer in the shop — the one that wears like outerwear.
Bowery L/S Arctic Stretch Fleece — For no-fuss layering. A relaxed fit with dual snap chest pockets and a vegan leather patch, built from a medium-weight recycled fleece blend and finished with a softener wash for that well-worn feel right out of the bag.
What “Vintage Look, New Feel” Actually Means
Flannel is old. The look is borrowed straight from the workwear and outdoor shirts our grandparents wore — those signature vintage-inspired plaids are a deliberate nod to that history.
The feel is where we broke from tradition. Old flannels meant a trade-off: the warm ones itched, and the soft ones didn't last.
