Gorilla Biscuits – S/T EP
Gorilla Biscuits rose from the NYHC scene of the mid-80s by a few high school friends who felt the scene as a whole needed a refreshment. They were a positive force in the straight-edge movement and although the music is pretty aggressive and heavy, the message was always anti-violent and about having fun. Their first two records are still regarded as being some of the most influential HC albums ever released. Here’s their first EP on a 33 1/3 rpm 7″ vinyl.
“Hold Your Ground”
The Widows - Critical Massacre
The Widows are a good-times classic punk band from San Diego, CA. Formed a few years back by seasoned musicians from multiple other bands in and around Southern California, The Widows recorded this full-length LP with Rocket From The Crypt’s Swami aka John Reis in 2011. We’ve seen them play several times and suggest you check them out live if they ever come to your area.
